Neighbors look out for each other and, if alone they may seek immediate help by triggering their emergency pendant. Social, exercise, and craft facilities are provided in the Community House and the Kensington Room. Residents get together for dinner at favorite restaurants. In the Kensington Room, Residents gather for Monday “Keep You in Stitches” Craft Class, Wednesday Scrabble, or to celebrate every holiday imaginable. There are bus and field trips. Residents have participated in the Manchester Fire Department Parade. Regularly our Residents have entries at the Festival of Wreaths and the Purse Auction.
Activities
At Manchester Manor a Resident will find new friends with like interests who have freed themselves for travel, leisure and doing the things they want. The activities are endless for those that wish to participate. Some enjoy walking with friends throughout our park-like grounds or gathering outside near the gazebo on a warm summer evening.
